Candreva’s position seems to keep Bonucci in play
The goal disallowed, via VAR, in the convulsive Juventus-Salernitana finale continues to cause debate. There is debate over the position of Candreva, who was “out of the picture” at the time of the cross and likely kept Bonucci in play at the time of Milik’s goal.
Bonucci also spoke about it: “Candreva is much lower. And the grass cutting says so. I don’t say that, if we look at the grass cut maybe Candreva keeps me in the game. I hope they took Candreva into account. Also because to keep of account Candreva the image must be complete, which didn’t happen. We will never know. Regardless, my position is not active.” The fans clearly speak of a “technical error” and a match to be repeated.
