Marc Marquez returns to Aragon, now official
The MotoGp world championship rediscovers one of its protagonists: Marc Marquez will return at the Aragon Grand Prix. This was confirmed by the Spaniard’s team, Repsol Honda.
For the multiple world champion it will be a return after 110 days of absence made necessary after the fourth surgery the right arm: the Italian Grand Prix of Mugello was the last one run by Marquez.
After hitting a 125 world championship in 2010 and a Moto2 world championship in 2012, Marquez officially debuted in MotoGp aboard Honda in 2013. Already in his first year in the top MotoGP category, he won the championship ahead of Jorge Lorenzo and teammate Daniel Pedrosa. From 2014 to 2019 he won five more World Championships, not triumphing only in 2015, when it was Lorenzo’s turn amid controversy.
Marquez’s last MotoGp victory was at the 2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
