Novak Djokovic will not participate in his national team’s Davis Cup commitments
Novak Djokovic’s absence from the courts is prolonged: after missing the entire North American swing, complesi the Us Open, the Serbian tennis player has also forfeited Serbia’s Davis Cup commitment, scheduled for Sept. 13-18.
The former world number one, according to reports in the Croatian newspaper Jutarnji list, will not be available because he will be attending the wedding of his brother Djordjie on those days, who will be married in Belgrade on September 12.
Djokovic will be there instead for the Davis Cup finals in November, if Serbia makes it past the round.
