Lorenzo Musetti gave Italy its first point against Croatia in the Davis Cup.
Engaged against Borna Gojo, the Tuscan carefully managed the match giving very few opportunities to the Slav, who however in the first fraction was able to cancel four set points on his own serve.
However, in two sets (6-4, 6-2) Musetti disposed of the match at the Unipol Arena.
The last intersection in Davis between Croatia and Italy is well fresh in the memory: last November in Turin precisely the Slavs were the architects of the Azzurri’s elimination in the quarterfinals.
