Napoli privateer in Glasgow, Juventus collapses
Juventus knockout, Napoli ok
Good win for Napoli as they beat Rangers 3-0 in the away match in Glasgow valid for the second day of the Champions League.
Spalletti’s Azzurri, fresh from their success over Liverpool, took the lead thanks to a penalty by Politano in the 68th minute after two mistakes from the penalty spot by Zielinski (save and rebound). In the final, in numerical superiority, then came Raspadori’s double and Ndombele’s first goal.
Juventus, on the other hand, collapsed 2-1 at the Stadium against Benfica and thus remained last at 0 in Champions League Group H, along with Maccabi Haifa.
The Bianconeri took the lead after just four minutes through Milik, but were caught up by Joao Mario (44′) and finally overtaken by Neres’ strike early in the second half (55′).
