Antonio Giovinazzi, important invitation in view of 2023
The Apulian driver will take part in the French team’s private tests
After getting back behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car, specifically the Haas, by taking part in the free practice sessions of the Italian Grand Prix, Antonio Giovinazzi will experience a new experience related to the top motorsport series, with a chance to play for a starting spot at Alpine for the 2023 season.
The French stable, in fact, has also invited Antonio Giovinazzi to participate in the test scheduled for the end of September: the Apulian (who, at the moment, remains in Ferrari’s orbit anyway) will test himself with some of the possible replacements for Fernando Alonso, who at the end of the season will leave the former Renault to settle at Aston Martin.
Among them, according to reports by ‘Motorsport.com’, will be ‘development driver’ Jack Doohan (son of multi-time motorcycle champion Mick), Monza rookie (with excellent results) Nyck de Vries and finally Colton Herta, who, however, is still waiting to understand the developments of the issue related to the super-license.
