MotoGp, Marc Marquez does not rule out mid-weekend stop
Honda centaur Marc Marquez: “I’m far from the best condition, we’ll see if I have to stop”
Honda centaur Marc Marquez shed light on his condition on the eve of the three-day Aragon race that will mark his return to the MotoGp track in months. “One of the most important things is to be on the bike, for me and to prepare for 2023. I have to combine gym and bike and figure out how to go about it,” he told a press conference.
Racing as training, and little else: “As for the podium, I would say 1 percent chance. I am very far of my physical condition. The arm bone is okay, but muscularly I am very far away. Plus Honda is far behind the other manufacturers at the moment. The goal is to finish the weekend, we’ll see if I have to stop in one of these three races, but my goal is to give precise indications to Honda. This winter I will have to figure out the maximum level I can reach with my right arm.”
