Juve, Luciano Moggi points to the causes of the crisis
“The real problem is physical condition.”
After the drubbing suffered in the Champions League against Benfica, the Juventus people are in turmoil. Between those who point the finger at certain players, and those who call for ‘the head’ of coach Massimiliano Allegri, the team is preparing for the trip to Monza, fresh from a change in technical leadership. The imperative is obviously for an immediate turnaround for a team that already lags four points behind the Milan-Napoli pair in the standings, who will face each other in Sunday night’s big-match at San Siro.
Speaking as a guest on ‘7 Gold,’ former General Manager of the Bianconeri club Luciano Moggi had his say on the difficult moment Juventus is going through. Here are his words.
“Juventus’ real problem, as I see it, is not the coach or even the players,” he began. “You will see that when they recover all the injured the team will recover and do very well. The real problem is the physical condition. Juventus only holds up one half, then they go into difficulty. In this regard, the break could be important to recover a good physical condition.”
