Hunter shoots and hits bicyclist: it was okay

It could have turned out decidedly worse. A disconcerting incident in Veneto marked the start of the hunting season.
A 48-year-old cyclist residing in Fietta di Pieve del Grappa was shot in Castelcucco while transiting through a stretch of open country: the shot hit him in the forehead, where it lodged.
The man, who fortunately did not lose consciousness, had only to contact 118 to ask for rescue. Fortunately, his life is not in danger and he was not hit in the eye.
