The adventure of the Italian women’s national team at the 2022 Women’s World Championship, scheduled in the Netherlands and Poland from September 23 to October 15, has begun. In the early afternoon the European champions left for the Netherlands: flight from Rome Fiumicino airport bound for Amsterdam and then transfer to Arnhem.

The Dutch city will host all the matches on the first day of the 4 groups (24 teams involved) and then will be the venue for pools A and D, while groups B and C will be played in Gdansk and Lodz, respectively.

Davide Mazzanti’s girls are included in Pool A with: Netherlands, Kenya, Belgium, Puerto Rico and Cameroon. Italy’s debut is scheduled for Saturday, September 24 against the Cameroonian team (3 p.m.).
