ATP Finals goal: Jannik Sinner’s upcoming appointments.
A clear goal, with a precedent that bodes well.
Jannik Sinner is seeking redemption after difficulties in recent months. Engaged with Italy in the Davis Cup, the South Tyrolean is aiming to put himself back in the running for the ATP Finals scheduled for Turin. To do so, however, he will have to achieve top results again.
To do so, he has therefore put several dates on his calendar, the first of which evokes sweet memories. In fact, the next tournament Sinner will take part in is Sofia, where he snatched the first ATP title victory of his career in 2020. After that he will participate in a 250 tournament (in Florence), two 500s (Nur Sultan and Vienna) and the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000.
The goal is clear: to return to the world top 8, nipping at the 500 points that separate him from Alexander Zverev. Those up for grabs total 2,500, making Sinner’s mission entirely feasible.
