Ciro Immobile reveals his fixed thoughts
Ciro Immobile is preparing, along with the Italian national team, for the Nations League
Ciro Immobile, interviewed by the official channels of the Azzurri national team, outlined his upcoming goals with Italy, without forgetting Lazio and his ‘fixed thought’: “Participating in the American World Cup is one of the goals I set for myself. As Lazio captain, I cannot shout that we will win the Scudetto, but I have this fixed thought every year when I start the season.”
The Biancoceleste center forward then addressed the generational change of strikers, “Scamacca, Pellegri, Pinamonti I like. Raspadori has already done the European Championship with us and I already rate him as a half veteran. Gianluca has decided to go to the Premier, a difficult choice and we need to give him time. They have to score with the club and then have confidence in the national team as well.”
According to Immobile, there is now a need for great continuity in his role: “It’s better to do five 15-goal seasons than one 30-goal season, then if you do five 25-goal seasons then it’s the top. I always look at the best who always score goals. Young strikers must set themselves this goal, to score lots of goals all the time and in today’s soccer to be able to help the team.”
