Scary moment during Laver Cup match between Tsitsipas and Schwartzman

A tense moment during the Laver Cup match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Diego Schwartzman, staged in London on Friday afternoon and won by the Greek with a comfortable 6-2, 6-1: a young court invader in fact broke onto the court and set himself on fire with an arm.

The protester was wearing a shirt with a slogan relating to an environmental campaign against the use of private jets in the United Kingdom. After a few seconds in which the worst was feared, stewards at the O2 Arena stopped the young man and extinguished the flames, which had meanwhile reached the playing field.

Fortunately, there were no physical consequences, either for the young man or for those who intervened: the match resumed and was completed without further shaking.
