Johann Zarco, very harsh attack on Marc Marquez
Johann Zarco took second place in qualifying for the Japanese GP in Motegi. The French centaur finished behind Marc Marquez: “Another pole would have been nice, the strategy was good but I hesitated on the first lap,” he said after the race.
However, there is a lot of anger: “At the last I found traffic, Marquez got in my way and I’m not happy about that, obviously. He braked late, I found him in front of me and I couldn’t take off like I had to.”
“I tried to make a step forward and I couldn’t, I don’t know if they will penalize him, but we will try to understand what happened. Starting second is still good for tomorrow, it will help us get a better start,” Zarco concluded to Sky Sports.
The Cervera champion, on the other hand, attempted to calm the waters and, when questioned on the subject, expressed himself as follows, “I got off late and went outside, we talked about it and explained.”
