At the end of qualifying in Montegi Max Biaggi has drawn the conclusion. Ayumu Sasaki will start from the fourth position on the grid. A little further back in 12th position is John McPhee: “The rain did not catch us unprepared, as we will start from a good position tomorrow, especially with Ayumu.”

“Our two riders did not make any mistakes in either of the two sessions held today in Motegi and so they both managed, lap by lap, to become familiar with the difficult track conditions.
