Marc Marquez’s solo press conference cancelled

It will not be the Mandalika circuit to host the press conference of Marc Marquez in which the Catalan centaur, close to leaving Honda, would in all likelihood have delved into the reasons for his divorce with the Japanese manufacturer and announced, barring any sensational unforeseen events, his landing in Ducati, at the court of Gresini Racing.

According to reports from the Spanish portal 'Marca', it would have been precisely HRC to ask Marquez to stall before any announcement, to keep up the attention on a season that in any case è still quite far from its conclusion and that Honda would like to close at best.

Marquez will nonetheless be present at the usual Thursday press conference, and will take Marco Bezzecchi’s place in the first round of interviews, answering reporters’ questions along with the two main contenders for the 2023 MotoGp World Championship, Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin.

Certainly the choice not to appear alone in the private press conference has displaced the insiders: as far as the future is concerned, però, there seem to be very few doubts and only a resounding reversal of the front could drive Marc Marquez away from Gresini Racing.
