MotoGp: Jack Miller show in Japan, Pecco Bagnaia falls
Quartararo earns important points in the standings
The Japanese Grand Prix was won by Jack Miller, who, on a Ducati, took home a truly stunning victory, dominating the race with great power. Completing the podium were Brad Binder and Jorge Martin.
Pecco Bagnaia chased Fabio Quartararo throughout the race but, on the last lap, in an attempt to overtake him, he slipped. The Frenchman, reigning World Champion, eighth at the finish, thus stretches in the standings. Now the points lead over the Italian are 18 (219 against the Ducati rider’s 201) when there are only four races left to the end of the season.
Ducati general manager Luigi Dall’Igna on Pecco Bagnaia’s crash: “Pecco did well to try, it’s the spirit of champions.”
