Austrian MotoGP GP, the words of the three from the podium

Here are the statements of the three from the podium of the MotoGP class Austrian Grand Prix: Pecco Bagnaia, winner, Brad Binder and Marco Bezzecchi, second and third place finishers. The quotes are from formulapassion.co.uk.

Pecco Bagnaia: “I honestly expected a stronger pace, but the conditions were much more difficult for everyone. I was starting to struggle a bit on the front, but then I figured out how to improve the lap time and we managed everything perfectly. As a result I am very happy because this weekend we showed our potential and I am happy. Thanks to everyone, you are always very kind to me and I thank you.”

Brad Binder: “I already knew from yesterday that we lacked enough at the traction level, I tried to push, attack and brake hard. I tried to keep up with Pecco as much as possible in the first part of the race, but at one point the grip at the rear said ‘bye-bye’ and so I had to use my head in order to get the bike to the finish. The team’s work between yesterday and today was amazing, I could brake much further and harder, but we still have something to do on grip and traction, but it’s very nice to get another podium here in KTM’s home race.”

Marco Bezzecchi: “I feel great, because yesterday with the crash at the start I was very sad because I was sure I could have a good race. I was very motivated for today, the team did something incredible and it’s a great day also because of Vietti’s win in Moto2 and with the podium for the Academy. I want to thank the team, Valentino, everyone who supports me and my family.”
