Mooney VR46 driver splits the race in two

Mooney VR46 rider Marco Bezzecchi, spoke at the end of the Grand Prix at the Motegi circuit to the team’s official channels, commenting on yet another top-10 of his season.

The Italian centaur had to recover after a difficult start, which had led him to be in 15th position at the end of the first lap.

“A decent race: I didn’t get a great start, but I tried to recover. I was behind Pecco Bagnaia and staying so close, in the slipstream, I started to have some problems with the front tire. I lost something and then tried to close strong. Thanks to the team, they did a great job, to the Academy and to all the Japanese fans, they were really special,” said a satisfied Bezzecchi.
