Guido Migliozzi reveals a backstory

Guido Migliozzi has won the Open de France. At Guyancourt, near Paris, the 25-year-old from Vicenza won with a comeback in the final round and a bogey free round in 62 (-9) on a total of 268 (69 71 66 62, -16) strokes.

“I love fighting on the course and it paid off. The second shot on 18 was something incredible, despite the fact that my caddie was not happy with the strategy I adopted. I wanted to go for it and this time I was right. Last year I came close to success several times, without ever succeeding. I didn’t give up and now I want the Ryder Cup, it’s my dream,” the triumphant player said happily.
