Stefano Gentile wants to get off to a good start

On the eve of his fourth Super Cup with Dinamo Sassari, Stefano Gentile in a press conference talked about the start of the season and the championship he expects.

For the Sassari veteran, it’s a chance to get off to the right start: “It’s always a pleasure to start with the Supercoppa, because there’s a trophy up for grabs right away, against the top of the class, and that means we have to get off to a strong start. We can’t afford any slow starts-these are the challenges we athletes work hard for all year long, and of course we want to be ready.”

Stefano Gentile also looked back in comparison to last season: “As we also saw last years if you get off to a good start you get a momentum that carries you through the whole season: getting off to a good start means giving the right momentum. Tortona comes from an excellent season played last year moved by great ambition, the same with which we also present ourselves: a good challenge awaits us and then we will totally immerse ourselves with Varese, Malaga, all important games.”

And on the upcoming championship Gentile has no doubts: “Now that we are back to normal, the companies are gearing up and I think we are expecting one of the toughest championships in recent years.”
