Two appointments on the exact same day

It seems like a twist of fate and, in fact, it is a bit. Next November 11, according to the calendar, two rather important games are scheduled, namely Olimpia Milano-Virtus Bologna (Euroleague regular season) and Italy-Spain (a match valid for the qualification for the next World Cup).

Through the columns of Corriere dello Sport, Gianni Petrucci, number 1 of Italian basketball, was clear: “I trust in everyone’s common sense, because otherwise we would have to summon the players and the clubs would be obliged to send them. I don’t want to get to that.” Anticipating the Euroleague challenge between Olimpia Milano and Virtus Bologna seems the only solution also because coach Scariolo could certainly not be on both benches at the same time (he leads Virtus Bologna and also Spain).
