Jonathan Milan concedes encore by a couple of inches
A day after securing his first professional victory, Jonathan Milan conceded an encore, imposing himself in the second stage of the CRO Race, the 163-kilometer Otocac-Zara. The young sprinter from Friuli triumphed in a photo finish, beating Barbier (B#38;B Hotel) and Viviani (Ineos) to the line.
“Immediately I had the feeling that I had put my wheel two centimeters ahead of the Frenchman’s. Two wins in two days. Who could have imagined that? My teammates did a great job from start to finish,” pointed out the Team Bahrain Victorious rider.
