F1 free Gp Singapore: Ferrari one-two despite problems. Red Bull under indictment
Ferrari’s Sainz fastest in Tuesday’s F1 second free practice at Marina Bay
Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz was the fastest in the second free practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix: on the Marina Bay track, the Spanish driver set a time of 1:42.587, ahead of teammate Charles Leclerc, who was second despite brake and setup problems with his single-seater that delayed his entry to the track.
Third place for the Mercedes of George Russell, then the Red Bull of world champion Max Verstappen and the other Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton. Further back was the other Red Bull driver Sergio Perez, ninth.
The day in the paddock was enlivened by news of alleged budget cap violations by Red Bull: the Fia announced audits but both Horner and Marko say they are calm.
