Simone Inzaghi raises voice ahead of challenge to Roma

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi spoke in the press conference on the eve of the challenge against Jose Mourinho’s Roma.

“In soccer, victories, defeats, trophies count. In these 7 years I have always managed to bring trophies, revenues and few losses, I hope to continue to do so,” said the Nerazzurri coach, emphasizing how much positive work he has done during his time at both Inter and Lazio.

“Do I feel at risk? Always. Every game, every training session, you have to take so many risks, so many decisions. We are trying to work more and better. We will see what the field will say. I am very very calm, I work with my staff and my players, I have the right tranquility,” Inzaghi explained, not mincing words.

Finally, an update on Romelu Lukaku’s condition: “There has been a slowdown that takes away an important player from us. It has been a month, we will still need some time, we are missing an important player, but the staff is working in the best way.”
