Luca Marini spoke to the official channels of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, ahead of the last Grand Prix of the MotoGP, which will be run at the Spanish circuit ‘Ricardo Tormo’.

“Compared to the GPs outside Europe, Valencia will be a completely different race. The track is special, then also the weather conditions, the temperatures, which could be cold, there will be many unknowns. As always, the goal is to start well from Friday, do a good qualifying and aim for the Top6. The track is not one of my favorites, but Ducati was very strong here in 2021. I am comfortable on the bike now and I can have my say at every circuit,” explained the centaur, in his second year in the premier class.

Marini, who is still looking for his first podium of the season, has so far earned 111 points, which currently earns him 13th place in the rainbow standings, ahead of teammate Marco Bezzecchi, who was named ‘Rookie of the Year.
