Some still think he can return to the field
Through Instagram, Serena Williams took a blast from the past: “On this day (Oct. 31, ed.) 28 years ago I made my professional tennis debut. I can recount the wins and losses, but in the end it was always about trying to do my best. Every day, you win, lose or draw. I can look back with no regrets. It was worth it,” his social words.
The 42-year-old former world No. 1 participated in the last US Open, both in singles and doubles. Some believe she may return to the court again. The Australian Open is scheduled for January. With a wild card, she could be included in the women’s main draw.
