VR46, it’s Celestino Vietti’s last: “I have to close at my best”
Antonelli and Vietti seek answers in the last race of the season.
At the start the last GP of the Moto2 season for Valentino Rossi’s Mooney VR46 Racing Team with Celestino Vietti Ramus and Niccolò Antonelli called to redemption after the bitter epilogue of the trip outside Europe, with the double retirements in Australia and Malaysia.
“Valencia will be the last race of the year and with the team, the goal is to close at best, hit a good result for the whole team and concretize as much as possible. The balance of the trips outside Europe was not the best, let’s turn the page, on a track where I was always fast and then start the new season on the right foot,” the words of Vietti.
“Valencia is a track that I know well,” Antonielli explained, “where we have already lapped at the beginning of the season with Moto2. It will definitely help, but the conditions and my experience on the bike now are very different. Let’s take everything good and try to hit the points target to close out this first year in the category in the best possible way.”
