La Liga, Javier Tebas has no doubts about Gerard Piqué’s future
The 35-year-old defender has won 30 titles with the blaugrana
The news caught everyone off guard. Piqué’s season-long farewell was a blow to the hearts of many, especially the fans of Barcelona, a club with which he won a whopping 30 titles.
Tebas, president of La Liga, told El Partidazo de COPE, “He will be the president of Barça, there is no doubt about that. He has three conditions to do it: he has been with the club for 25 years, he knows the world of soccer perfectly and sees it from the player’s side, and finally, he knows the sports industry because he is a good businessman. Surely he can be a great president for Fútbol Club Barcelona.” Will this really be Piqué’s new goal?
