MotoGp, Fabio Quartararo sends a warning to Pecco Bagnaia
“It will be a fight to the last lap,” said the Yamaha rider.
Fabio Quartararo finished qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix, at the Valencian ‘Ricardo Tormo’ circuit, by setting the fourth fastest time (1′ 29″ 900).
The Yamaha centaur said he was satisfied to the microphones of Sky Sports: “At the beginning I had a problem with the bike, then I went back to the pits and then I did 15-16 very strong laps, although with the tire not 100%. We had a good pace and then in qualifying I gave everything. It was not enough, but I was happy to have done a lap like that.”
“We did a good job today, but it will be difficult in the race and the fight will be there until the last lap. In Turn 13 the Ducati has dry lap grip that we don’t have, as well as out of Turn 14, but on the pace we are not bad. We know it’s difficult in qualifying, but in the race it’s important not to think about it too much,” concluded Pecco Bagnaia’s rival for the world championship title race.
