Honda centaur Marc Marquez: “This winter we have to work hard.”

Honda centaur Marc Marquez does not hide his bitterness after the crash in Valencia: “I had the pace, I felt strong. But from the start I didn’t have the same power as in the warm up, the bike didn’t go straight, I wanted the podium or nothing. I took a risk in braking and fell. In the box they saw there was a problem.”

Marquez demands more from Honda: “If we want to fight for the title next year, we can’t do these things. I’m angry because I could have won the race…. This winter we have to work a lot, to try to make another step. I want a bike to win. Congratulations to Bagnaia and the whole Ducati.”

After winning a 125 world championship in 2010 and a Moto2 world championship in 2012, Marc Marquez made his official MotoGp debut on a Honda in 2013. Already in his first year in the top MotoGP category, he won the championship ahead of Jorge Lorenzo and teammate Daniel Pedrosa. From 2014 to 2019 he wins five more World Championships, not triumphing only in 2015, the year in which he serves as the needle in the challenge between Valentino Rossi and Lorenzo.
