Cosenza watch out for the free agent market

Cosenza, recently entrusted to new technical guide William Viali, is going through a serious moment of difficulty. It is coming off five consecutive defeats, and not even the change of coach seems to have healed the problems of a team with technical and experience limitations: for this reason, the management would be targeting profiles currently without a contract but with an important palmarès to lift the club mentally as well.

Chief among them is Federico Marchetti, now nearing 40 years of age: the former Genoa man could put his countless Serie A appearances at the team’s disposal and make up for the shortcomings manifested by Matosevic and Marson, helping them to grow and improve.

For the role of left back, two names stand out above all others: Marvin Zeegelar, 32, who played the last four seasons at Udinese, and Riccardo Fiamozzi, 29, a ductile player who can also adapt on the right lane, as he showed several times during his last experience at Empoli.

Finally in midfield, the profile of Antonio Vacca (32) is being probed: the former Venezia would give quality, experience and character to the group, a feature, the latter, that seems to be lacking in the Rossoblù.
