Juric’s words on the eve of Torino-Sampdoria

Ivan Juric presented the challenge against Sampdoria, a match valid for the 14th day of Serie A, scheduled for Wednesday at 8:45 p.m.

The Torino coach began by taking stock of Sanabria and Pellegri: “Tonny had his first training session yesterday and he hasn’t trained for a while, he could be useful in the match but not from the start. For Pellegri we’ve ruled out injuries, he’s trying to run this morning so we’ll see if he can train in the afternoon. Starting? If he trains yes, we have used Karamoh as a center forward but it is not his role. If Pellegri does well today and trains well, he will play.”

“I didn’t like the game with Bologna because in the second half in the first 15 minutes everything was under control and then we took goals because of carelessness. Samp has very good players and if you are not at 100 percent you lose,” continued the granata coach.

Then he expressed himself this way about Radonjic: “It depends on the teams you face, the defender you face. I also see him in training, against a strong one you don’t touch it and against a less strong one he enjoys it. He is doing a normal path for the first time in his career, training hard and working hard. He must not lose the characteristics he has. I think he is on the right path. He has the right potential.”

Finally, Juric is preparing some changes, especially in the defense: “We will change something. I have five central defenders and I was thinking of rotating them because even in the past by the third game the intensity level was lowered. Zima starting? It can be, Rodriguez too. I haven’t decided yet, today I see from training who has recovered and based on that I will decide.”
