Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri: an update on Vlahovic’s condition
Vlahovic has missed the last two games
Speaking in the press conference on the eve of the challenge against Hellas Verona, Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri gave an update on the condition of Dusan Vlahovic, who has already been out against Lecce and Inter.
“2022 over for Dusan? Simple, he has this tendon inflammation, pubalgic, yesterday he ran and was better, today we will evaluate. If he’s available it’s good for Juve, if not he’ll be treated and we’ll see for Sunday,” the Juventus coach explained.
Then a few words about the victory in the derby of Italy and the next opponents: “An evening of satisfaction and joy, from the next day the chapter is closed though. Tomorrow we go to play Verona, in the last games they have lost even undeservedly, they create a lot especially at home. Verona does not deserve the ranking they have.”
Juventus is the Italian club that has won the Italian league title the most times, 36. The Bianconeri’s first Scudetto was in 1905 while the first Champions Cup was in 1985, won in the final against Liverpool. After their interlude in Serie B in the 2006-07 season, Juventus won their first Scudetto of nine consecutive in the 2011-12 season: three under Antonio Conte, five under Massimiliano Allegri, and the last one, the 2019-20 one, with Maurizio Sarri on the bench.
