CEV Cup, Modena doesn’t discount the Finns

Valsa Group returns to the court and does so in the CEV Cup round of 16 against Finland’s Ford Levoranta Sastamala team. With Lagumdzija and Pope not summoned due to physical problems, Modena starts with the sextet composed of Bruno-Sala in the main diagonal, Ngapeth-Rinaldi in the band, Sanguinetti-Krick in the center with Rossini at libero. Sastamala lines up Mikko Esko in diagonal with Sivula, in place 4 Makinen and Allik, at center Ekman and Savoinsalmi, the libero is Pennanen.
The start of the match is tight point-to-point with Modena leading 9-8. It stays ahead Modena, which places the break with Tommaso Rinaldi’s pipe, 14-11.
