Ducati closes doors in Marc Marquez’s face
The words of Paolo Ciabatti
Paolo Ciabatti, still over the moon over the title won by Pecco Bagnaia, spoke to As about Ducati’s future. “I think it won’t take us another 15 years to win again in MotoGP. We have made an extremely good prototype. The strength of the Desmosedici has been evident, as the one that has just passed can be considered the best season in ‘our’ history, with 16 pole positions out of 20 races and taking a step on the podium in at least every Grand Prix. This is an excellent basis to start the next year better than we started 2022. For our part, we will test the new bike on Tuesday.”
In Spain, many have thought that the arrival of Alex Marquez in the Gresini team may anticipate a possible landing at Borgo Panigale of his brother Marc, but the hypothesis has been denied: “We will have a Márquez in our ranks, Álex, and I am very happy with the riders we have, with all the respect in the world for Fabio Quartararo and Marc. We already have the riders of the future in house.”
