Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari has placed under contract until the end of the season Deshawn Stephens, an American center, class of 1989, from Igokea, a team that participates in the Adriatic League and Basketball Champions League.

The paths between Stephens and Dinamo have crossed several times with the US center being brought to Italy by Federico Pasquini to play with Cagliari in A2 in 2017- 2018, and then always going up. He has already worn the jerseys of Fortitudo and Scafati in Italy, while in the last two years he played Champions first with the Danish Bakken Bears, then with Igokea, where he had been confirmed this season. Banco strongly wanted the player, who made himself available to enter into negotiations together with the Bosnian club. The Sardinian club thanked Igokea for the willingness shown in negotiating and being able to release the player, who was enthusiastic about joining Dinamo.
