Toprak Razgatlioglu postpones Ducati’s party

Victory for Toprak Razgatlioglu

After claiming pole position in the Tissot Superpole session valid for the Indonesia Pirelli Round of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha with Brixx WorldSBK) at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit won Race 1 by more than four seconds. Razgatlioglu was ahead of world standings leader Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati).

Razgatlioglu thus celebrated his 30th victory and 78th podium finish in WorldSBK. Twenty-eight of these 30 victories Razgatlioglu won with Yamaha: the Turk is the most successful rider with the Japanese manufacturer.

Fifty-fifth podium for the Spaniard, who now has a 77-point lead in the standings and could close the games on Sunday while Rea is mathematically out of the title fight. For the Northern Irishman today’s is podium number 240.
