Marc Marquez-Ducati, Jorge Lorenzo is lapidary
Jorge Lorenzo outlines the challenge of the upcoming MotoGp season
Former MotoGp centaur Jorge Lorenzo outlined the possible challenge next season between Marc Marquez and the Ducatis. The Catalan rider needs the support of Honda in order to compete with the Borgo Panigale stable: “He is regaining a physical condition that, although not optimal, allows him to be at the level of everyone else. If Honda provides him with a good bike and grants him a little extra help he could fight to win the next World Championship,” are the words reported by Gpone.
Ducati could also have its problems, however, especially with the arrival of Enea Bastianini in the Factory team: “For a few years now Ducati has become the most complete bike, but it has had young riders who have not been able to be consistent. Now, however, a difficult phase lies ahead with the arrival of Bastianini. It won’t be as easy as with Miller, as he was fast, but he didn’t have the consistency and those extra tenths. Maybe he lacked the genius of other riders. Enea and Bagnaia ride very differently, but if they can manage the possible rivalry they will be a very strong box.”
