Esposito’s Belgian adventure is in the closing credits

Sebastiano Esposito’s foreign adventure, which began last season in Basel and continued in the first part of the current year in Belgium at Anderlecht, is in its final credits and the player may soon return to Italy.

According to reports from the Belgian portal ‘Voetbalkrant,’ the Inter Milan-grown striker (who still owns his card) had already decided to return to Italy before the last league game before the World Cup break, the one between Anderlecht and Genk.

Therefore, the idea would be to look for a solution for the 20-year-old player’s loan term: making a first hypothesis is ‘Calciomercato,’ according to which Empoli would have expressed appreciation for the striker, considering him compatible with the technical project of coach Paolo Zanetti.
