France and its head coach, Didier Deschamps, have to deal with yet another forfeit ahead of Qatar 2022: Christopher Nkunku, in fact, will also be forced to miss the World Cup due to an injury suffered in training.
According to reports from ‘L’Equipe,’ the Leipzig striker was injured during a match, following a clash with Eduardo Camavinga. His condition immediately seemed serious: after undergoing specific examinations, Nkunku had no choice but to raise the white flag.
In Nkunku’s place, per the online portal of the transalpine sports daily, Deschamps would be intent on calling up another French striker committed to Germany, Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt.
