Inter on Carlos Augusto

Among Monza’s brightest elements in its first season in the top flight is undoubtedly Carlos Augusto. The Brazilian side also took the satisfaction of scoring as many as three goals, all of them useful to unlock the result in the matches then won by the Brianzoli at the U-Power Stadium against Spezia, Hellas Verona and, last Sunday, Salernitana, respectively.

According to reports from calciomercato.it, Inter have reportedly set their sights on the former Corinthians and will try to launch an offensive in January. With the knowledge that it will not be at all easy to convince the biancorosso club to let one of the fans’ idols leave.

Against Juventus, Monza won its first match in Serie A on September 18. The red and white team, which had been in the charge of Raffaele Palladino in the previous week, won 1-0 against the Bianconeri thanks to a goal scored by Christian Gytkjaer.
