Radja Nainggolan aims to return to Italy, first confirmations
From the entourage of the ‘Ninja’ comes first confirmations
The hypothesis of Radja Nainggolan’s return to Italy has found a first confirmation from people very close to the Belgian midfielder, who is close to a divorce with Antwerp. According to reports from ‘Het Laatste Nieuws,’ Nainggolan’s farewell to his hometown club “does not mark the end of his career,” as reported by one of the members of the player’s entourage.
“If a solution is not found in January, Radja will not give up,” the words reported by the Belgian newspaper, “He does not want to stop, whatever happens. He would certainly like to return to Italy, where a name has been made in the past. A move to America has also been considered in the past, less likely an Asian club awaits him.”
Nainggolan played in Italy from 2005 to 2021, wearing the uniforms of Piacenza, Cagliari, Roma and Inter Milan, before a second move to Cagliari preceded his return to his homeland in June 2021. The latest market rumors would have Serie B clubs such as Palermo and Bari interested in the ‘Ninja’ for the second half of the season.
