Paolo Banchero is back to talk about his future with the national team in an exclusive interview with Il Messaggero.

“Italy at the World Cup? It’s an extraordinary achievement, not only for the team but for the whole country. It’s something I’m very proud of. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to watch the game because I had a challenge with the Magic to prepare for. Watching the Azzurri play from the outside, though, I can say that I like their style on the parquet, it’s very exciting basketball, which inspires me a lot.”

Inevitable to ask him now what he will do: “I have to talk about it well with my team, my agent, my family. It would be a great opportunity, for sure, I can’t deny it, but more time has to pass. I have to think about it well and discuss it with those around me.”
