Italrugby, lineup unveiled for challenge with South Africa

Kieran Crowley, head coach of the Italian Men’s National Team, has made official the lineup that will face South Africa on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m. at the Stadio Ferraris in Genoa in the Azzurri’s third and final engagement in the Autumn Nations Series, a match that will be broadcast live on TV8 and Sky Sport Arena.

It will be match number sixteen between the two teams, the eighth played in Italy and the second in Genoa after the only previous one dated November 17, 2001. There will be two changes in the starting XV compared to the historic victory won at the Stadio Franchi in Florence against Australia last Saturday.

Wide triangle formed by Capuozzo-Bruno (both in goal against Australia) and Ioane. Third consecutive game from the first minute for the center pair Morisi-Brex, while the halfback will be formed by Allan and Varney.

In the third line along with Michele Lamaro – in his 11th caps as captain – confirmations for Lorenzo Cannone and Sebastian Negri. Second line with Ruzza and Niccolo Cannone. In the first line, along with Danilo Fischetti, the two new additions from the first minute will be Ceccarelli and Nicotera.

Ready to take over from the bench are Lucchesi, Nemer, Ferrari, Sisi, Zuliani, Garbisi, Padovani, Menoncello.
