Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, in the second part of an interview with Piers Morgan on ‘Talk TV,’ talked about the consequences for his career if Portugal emerges triumphant from the upcoming World Cup.
Earlier the Manchester United number 7 said what he sees as the favorites at the World Cup: “There are France, Germany, Spain, Argentina, Brazil. Yes, but I am optimistic. We have a great coach and a great team. It will be difficult, but we will play it.”
“If I win the World Cup I will retire 100 percent. I feel great now, and if I don’t win the World Cup I think I will play two more years or at most three years. Forty may be the right age to stop, but I don’t know my future. Sometimes you plan something and you don’t know what will happen,” the Portuguese player later clearly admitted.
