Two names for Torino’s defense
Turin: two defenders in the sights of Davide Vagnati
Rumors about the future of Koffi Djidji are becoming more and more insistent: the Ivorian is very much liked in England and Fulham is preparing the lunge. Not to be caught unprepared, Davide Vagnati has already started sounding out the market in search of a suitable profile to adequately replace the 1992 class.
Two names have emerged from the search of the head of the Technical Area: Oumar Gonzalez and Almamy Touré. The former, eyeballed in recent days, is currently with Ajaccio. Raised in the youth sector of Metz, he has also worn the jerseys of Épinal, Rodez and Villefranche in his career. In 2019 he moved permanently to Chambly, a club he left in 2021 to move to Corsica. In 2019, with the Cameroonian Under-23 national team, he took part in the African Nations Cup in his category.
Touré, on the other hand, wears the Eintracht Frankfurt jersey but his contract (like Gonzalez’s) expires in 2023. Born in 1996, he is a Malian footballer with French citizenship who can play in the center of defense or wide on the right. After representing France’s under-21 selection, he decided to represent Mali in 2022. He boasts a French championship (Monaco 2016-2017) and a Europa League (Eintracht Frankfurt 2021-2022) in his palmares.
