Solbakken is a new Roma player

Roma has made official the purchase of Ola Solbakken, a Norwegian forward class 98 who arrives from Bodo-Glimt after his contract with the Norwegian club ended.

The Giallorossi club’s official statement reads, “AS Roma is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Ola Solbakken effective January 2, 2023. The 24-year-old Norwegian has signed a contract that will bind him to the club until June 30, 2027.”

“I pushed so hard to make my wish come true: I really wanted to become a Roma player and finally now it is a reality – these are the first words released by the new Giallorossi player. Roma impressed me right away, I believe a lot in the Club’s project and plans and I wanted to be part of it. I come here to learn and to improve, but also to show what I am capable of doing. The Roma fans are the best I have ever seen and I can’t wait to play for them.”

The Norwegian striker will wear the number 18 jersey.
