A little less than 48 hours after the injury suffered in the ill-fated Euroleague match against Fenerbahce, the verdict of Olimpia Milano’s medical staff on Kevin Pangos’ physical condition has arrived.

“Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano,” reads the note published early Saturday afternoon, “informs that during the second half of last Thursday’s EuroLeague game against Fenerbahce, Kevin Pangos suffered a partial injury of the posterior cruciate ligament of his right knee.

“The player has already begun the rehabilitation process,” the Milanese club continues. “The re-evaluation is scheduled in six weeks, after which, if everything proceeds according to plan, he will be able to begin the recovery phase to basketball.
