Fabio Quartararo does not operate

Fabio Quartararo was expected to undergo surgery at the end of the season after the crash he suffered during the fourth free practice session at the Malaysian Grand Prix circuit that resulted in a fracture of the middle finger of his left hand. This was announced by Yamaha, which announced, “Fabio’s check-up was satisfactory, but he will have to undergo minor surgery on the finger, which is not urgent and will be carried out after the end of the season.”

The French centaur, however, has changed his mind, as the Japanese team made known, as reported by Motorsport.com: “In the end Quartararo will not undergo surgery, he has recovered satisfactorily from the injury and the surgery was more for cosmetic than therapeutic reasons, so in the end it will not be carried out.”
